FLOWERING VINES

Flowering vines are one of the finest, most versatile tools a gardener can have. Depending on variety, sizes can range from 5' to 30' giants with flowers (many types highly fragrant) in all sizes and shapes from tiny delicate stars to huge trumpets.

Colors also cover the entire spectrum from white to all other colors except black, although there are some dark purple that can come real close. Requirements range from full sun to full shade, drought tolerant or ample water; these requirements all depending on the particular variety of vine chosen.

The many prized uses in landscaping include being used as sound and / or sight screens, groundcovers, hanging baskets, cascading over banks and walls, trained as topiaries or espaliered on walls, trellises and fences.

Amongst the many vines available today, Garden Music has a beautiful selection of Bougainvilla and Mandevillea.

Well-established vines typically need little extra care, usually just requiring pruning to keep it as you like.
